Peter Lam is a Registered Dietitian and a Credentialed Foodservice Executive. He provides nutrition and food service systems consultation to Health Care facilities, Health Services for Community Living (HSCL), Senior Retirement Corporations, Food Service & Hospitality Industry clients and the Swallowing Intervention Service (SIS) in the Fraser Health Authority.
In his clinical practice, Peter provides dysphagia and nutrition consultation for the Swallowing Intervention Service, Health Services for Community Living, retirement residences, long term care and, often working with the developmentally delayed clients.
He has presented many courses and lectures at national & international conferences, universities, colleges, health care facilities, hospitals, community support groups and professional organizations. He is presently composing a role discussion paper for Dietitians of Canada to identify the Knowledge and Skills required by Registered Dietitians in Dysphagia Assessment and Management.
He has received specialized training in Dysphagia Treatment and Management from many international experts in this field. He is a member of the DC dysphagia Assessment & Treatment Network (DAT-N) and is an alumni and a faculty member of the Florida Dysphagia Institute.
Dr. Robert Miller, Ph.D. BC-ANCDS

Dr. Miller is Lecturer in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences and Clinical Associate Professor in Rehabilitation Medicine and Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Washington. He spent thirty years on the staff of the VA Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, serving as Chief of Audiology & Speech Pathology and Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation Services. He has co-authored two texts (Medical Speech Pathology with Dr. Michael Groher and Management of Speech and Swallowing in Degenerative Disease with Dr. Kathryn Yorkston and Dr. Edythe Strand). Dr. Miller serves as an editorial consultant for the journal Dysphagia. He is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Fellow and was awarded the 1998 "Outstanding Clinical Achievement" award by the Washington Speech and Hearing Association. He has lectured and published extensively on the topic of dysphagia in adults.
